Cooking Breakfast… Not Awesome

Anthony Bourdain once said, “If you don’t know how to eat and you don’t love eating, how can you be expected to cook?”

One of my favorite quotes. The smell of breakfast in the morning is something that simultaneously makes me want to get out of bed and resent the fact that I'm willingly cutting into my weekend sleep to become a brunch cook. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good pancake. Melted butter, maple syrup, and the golden circle on the top of the pancake is a sight for sore eyes. But I'm pretty sure my perfect stack requires a four-day work week to truly appreciate.
